Blending Human + AI Creativity
AI brings new tools, but direction is what makes them meaningful.
This page is a collection of AI-driven ideas, films and visual experiments. Some are narrative studies, some are moving image tests, some are small worlds built around a single image, mood or concept.
For me, AI is not a shortcut around thinking. It is a way to explore faster, build visual stories earlier and test ideas that would otherwise stay in the sketchbook. The value is still in the point of view: what to make, why it matters and how it should feel.
These experiments show how I use AI as part of creative direction, storytelling, image-making and motion. Not instead of human creativity, but as another tool for giving it form.
Broadcast cases: AI in production
Tähdet, Tähdet – AI as a pre-production tool
I used AI in pre-production to build a simulated version of the promo film before the actual shoot.
The demo film was used to test the visual world, costume language, movement, light, edit rhythm and overall emotional tone.
When the vision can be seen as a film, not just discussed, both the client and the crew understand the direction faster. Weak points also show up earlier, while they are still easy to fix.
My role: AI previsualisation · visual concepting · motion direction testing
Process: AI stills and video, video editing, After Effects
Vain elämää – AI as part of the shoot
I created an AI-generated background video for an 18-metre LED screen used in the promo shoot for the new season of Vain elämää.
A small thing, but a useful one. Less imagining, more seeing, for the people in front of the camera and for the crew around them.
My role: AI background video design and execution
Process: AI stills and video, video editing, grading, After Effects
AI is the toothbrush, not the smile.
