Context
Nelonen Media Live needed a Christmas campaign that would sell festival tickets early, when summer still felt far away.
Approach
At Christmas, many gifts are things that are quickly forgotten. We wanted to sell moments people still remember in a rocking chair.
“Give a moment that does not fit in a box” made a festival ticket feel like an experience. “The best summer decisions are made at Christmas” made it feel like a timely decision. Not something for later, but something worth buying now.
Execution
The campaign ran on Nelonen Media TV channels (Nelonen, Liv, Jim, Hero), print media including Helsingin Sanomat, Ilta-Sanomat and Aamulehti, display advertising, Supla, Nelonen Media radio channels, Meta, YouTube and DOOH.
Outcome & Role
Summer energy in December, when everything else looked like Christmas. The campaign did what it set out to do: sold summer in winter, before the moment to decide had even arrived.
