YTK
ONLINE SERVICES
Context
YTK renewed its online services in 2017–2018 through ytk.fi and ytk-yhdistys.fi.
The services had to explain unemployment security, serve existing members, attract new ones and bring the renewed YTK brand into a real digital environment.
Approach
A brand is not finished when the logo is done.
It also has to work across forms, menus, member content, mobile views and everyday service moments.
My role was to make the renewed YTK feel clear, human and usable online. I worked on the UI and UX, including the visual direction, content hierarchy and key views across different devices.
The content structure and wireframes were created by another designer.
In 2019, the work continued with an accessibility project for ytk.fi and ytk-yhdistys.fi.
